East Arnhem mixing it up at NT Touch Titles

A team of youth from Galiwin'ku, Gapuwiyak & Milingimbi will be playing for East Arnhem Shire Council in the Mixed Under 18 competition at the NT Touch Titles to be held this May Day Long week-end at the Fannie Bay Racecourse in Darwin.
The team, who have been training hard in their own communities, have met and trained for the first time today as a team.
EASC Youth, Sport & Recreation Regional Manager Mrs Cherie Forbes said "We have a very excited team that have trained hard and are eager to win!"
"They are meeting today, getting kitted out with their new uniforms and putting the finishing touches on there set plays"
"We understand there will be alot of family and friends at home that wish they could be in Darwin supporting the team over the weekend. To make sure you don't miss out on the latest game results, we will be putting live game feeds, results & photos from the tournament on our East Arnhem Shire Council Facebook page" said Cherie.
