Looking for some fun in the sun these school holidays?

There is a great range of activities for young people during the January school holidays in East Arnhem Land.

The EASC Youth, Sport & Recreation Team have been busy running daily activities in each community. The EASC School Holiday Program includes many options to keep the kids entertained these school holidays, with most being free or low cost.  Not only are there heaps of one and two hour activities on offer, but also check out the half and full day excursions being offered across some of our communities these holidays.

EASC Youth, Sport & Recreation Regional Manager Cherie Forbes said the School Holiday Program guarantees fun, with activities in each community varying to cater for a wide age group.

'Most community Rec Halls/Sheds will be open daily; we have lots of fun in the sun planned school holidays, with inside activities for those looking to escape the heat'.

'This year we are very pleased to welcome back the allstar team of volunteers from Linkz in Yirrkala, Gapuwiyak, Angurugu and Milingimbi', said Cherie.
