Happy Holidays

December 18, 2024

The team at East Arnhem Regional Council would like to wish everyone a happy festive season.

Please note that during the Christmas and New Year's break, our Council Offices will operate with limited staff and be closed on public holidays.

A special thank you to our Councillors, Local Authority Members and staff working across the 9 Communities we serve: Angurugu, Galiwin'ku, Gapuwiyak, Gunyangara, Milingimbi, Milyakburra, Ramingining, Umbakumba, and Yirrkala. Your dedication is truly appreciated!

East Arnhem Regional Council's President recently shared this magical moment captured in the sky - a reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh.

“A sign of the spirit of goodwill, in the heart of Milingimbi, Makarrata ground, East Arnhem Land.”

- President Lapulung Dhamarrandji

Wishing you all a safe and wonderful holiday season!
