Community Grants Program

The Community Grants Program is a dedicated initiative established by the East Arnhem Regional Council to provide support and partnership opportunities for individuals, community groups, and local organisations within the East Arnhem communities. This program aims to offer financial assistance through resources and in-kind support to eligible applicants, allowing them to grow and develop within the community, develop a strong sense of belonging and achieve positive social, environmental and economic outcomes. It is a mechanism for channelling resources towards initiatives that contribute positively to the East Arnhem region and its communities.

Eligible for the Community Grants are:

• Individuals, community groups, and local organisations operating within East Arnhem communities and surrounding homelands.

• Individuals and unincorporated Community Groups, who are eligible for the Community Support Grant, with a maximum support value of $750.

• Registered and incorporated bodies, who can apply for the Sponsorship Grant, with a maximum value of up to $6,000.
